History Of Tattapani

While climbing towards Chindi, about 4 kilometres from Tattapani, there is a signboard signalling Shivji Ki Gufa or Cave of Lord Shiva. This cave was discovered back in the 1950s by some locals and since then, it is a major tourist attraction for Hindus.

It is one of the most sought after places to visit in Tattapani. As the name suggests, it is a spring of hot water where visitors can bathe outdoors. The chain of sulphur springs pours out hot water near the banks of the Sutlej River. 

2. Shiva Cave

Situated some 4 kilometres away from Tattapani, this ancient cave is a religious site. As you can guess by the name, it is dedicated to Lord Shiva and the Shivratri celebrations at this temple are a must-attend event. 

3. Adventure Park

For a day full of adventures and for a family outing, Adventure Park is an idyllic destination in Tattapani. Nestled in the lap of nature, this park offers breathtaking views of the Sutlej River and thrilling activities like Burma Bridge, Commando Net, Rope Bridge and Flying Fox. 

4. Chindi

Just 35 kilometres away from Tattapani, Chindi is a place bounded by nature and picturesque views. Situated in the valley of Karsog, Chindi is popular for its apple orchards and picture-perfect Himalayan peaks.
