Since Kasol is quite a small destination, hence commuting there is not super easy. If you want to go by train then you would need to deboard at Joginder Nagar Railway Station which is nearly 144 km away from the village of Kasol. From there either you can board a cab from the station or a bus from the Joginder Nagar Bus Stand towards Manikaran. Either of your choices would take nearly 4 to 6 hours for you to reach there. 

By Road

Since Kasol is a very popular tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh, the roads are quite well-maintained. Taking a road trip to this hamlet would be your best bet considering the picturesque views you would witness on your way. You would need to take NH 3 to reach here that goes towards Manali. You can either self-drive or take a cab. The ones who are okay with travelling on a bus can do so as several semi-sleeper Volvos go to and fro this destination, a single-seat costing up to 1,500. You would need to deboard the bus at Bhuntar first and take another one for Manikaran.
