By Air

If you plan on visiting here by air, then deboard at the Jolly Grant Airport aka Dehradun Airport (DED) situated about 200-250 km away. The airport receives flights on a daily basis and is considered to be quite a busy airport in India. To reach here, it is advised to take connecting flights via Delhi and Chandigarh. After deboarding at the airport, you will need to cover the remaining distance by some means of public transportation like a cab or a bus. 

  • From Delhi - Board IndiGo, Air India flights from Delhi Airport. The airfares will cost you between INR 2,000 - INR 4,000 per head.
  • From Chandigarh - Board Air India flights from Chandigarh Airport. The airfares will cost you between INR 4,000 - INR 7,000 per head.

To reach here by train, you will need to first deboard at Rishikesh Railway Station (RKSH) located 200 - 250 km away. By Road
