1. Close to the Archaeological Survey of India in Lothal, Gujarat is building a world-class facility. It is about 80 kilometers away from Ahmedabad and is the National Maritime Heritage Complex. According to reports, till now only the gold permit holders from these countries could enter the gulf nation.
However, according to the General Civil Aviation Authority of UAE, all travellers who are eligible to travel from the said nations will need to put on a “a tracking and monitoring device”.
3. A brand new museum and theme park dedicated to the life of Guru Gobind Singh is soon coming up in Bihar. A budget of INR 13.38 crore has been allotted by the government of Bihar towards the development of this museum and theme park. Prakash Punj in Patna is going to be the designated destination for this park. The museum and theme park have been planned to mark the 350th birthday of Guru Gobind Singh.
This project was supposed to have been completed last year but got delayed because of the coronavirus outbreak and the following lockdown. According to Narayan Prasad, Bihar Tourism Minister, “This structure was planned on 350th Prakash Parv of the 10th Sikh Guru. The government decided to have a museum and theme park where one can witness the life and works of Guru Gobind Singh and other Sikh Gurus.”
4. A few days ago, the government of Himachal Pradesh announced that travellers will no longer be required to show an RT-PCR report to enter the state. Soon after making the announcement, hundreds of cars line up on the highway, causing a major traffic jam, bringing traffic to a standstill on Sunday.
According to the reports, the government of Himachal Pradesh has now issued a new set of guidelines for tourists, along with making COVID-19 e-passes mandatory for entering the state.
