Perantalapalli is a village situated in Velerupadu Mandal, sited at the Kunavaram-Rajahmundry waterway, just 10 minutes away from Kolluru and can be reached by a boat ride. One can explore Sri Krishna Munivatam temple that was constructed in the year 1927, the village is blessed with scenic beauty.


Pattisam is located 35km away from Rajahmundry and a distance of 30km from Papikondalu, an astonishing place sited on the banks of river Godavari. One can reach this destination via road as well as by a boat from Rajahmundry. Two ancient temples are the main attraction points of the destination and the temple is devoted to Lord Shiva and another one to Lord Vishnu.

Jammalapuram Temple

One can visit Papikondalu from October to January, however, the peak time to visit this destination is November to December.

How to reach Papikondalu?

By Air. The Rajahmundry Airport is the nearest airport from Papikondalu, located in Madhurapudi at a distance of around 18km from the city center. It has overall good connectivity via other cities such as Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, etc.  

By Train - The nearest railway station is located in Rajahmundry. You can take a train from major cities such as Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, etc. From these cities, it would take you an approximate timeframe of around a day or day and a half at the most. 

By Road - You can also plan to explore Papikondalu via road network via NH44, NH65, NH16, Pune Highway and Bangalore Hyderabad Highway. From Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Ahmedabad Rajahmundry is at an approximate distance of 1790 km, 1,115 km, 1000 km, 824 km, 1660 km respectively.
