Panchgani is an alluring hill station in Maharashtra which witnesses a huge tourist crowd always. It is a beautiful location amidst the 5 hills or villages and hence known as Panchgani. One would find some amazing scenic views to capture the peace which will remain in their minds and hearts for a long period of time. It is just 18 km from Mahabaleshwar and is a must-visit place for anyone who considers themselves a travel buff.
Until the 1980s, Panchgani was almost entirely an educational centre and a health resort, with only the overflow of tourists from Mahabaleshwar coming. Now the whole picture has changed, and Panchgani is booming for better or for worse.

The Mapro Garden. Located amid the hills of the Panchgani, this travel destination offers the tourists with simply an amazing aura and charm. One can see greenery all around which is just an amazingly refreshing experience.
Paragliding in Panchgani. Panchgani is one of the most wonderful travel destinations for doing paragliding. In this place, you will be finding some of the best paragliding clubs in the city. However, if you are new to this, then it is recommended that you start from the elementary level and then slowly rise to an advanced level.
Visit Kate’s Point. Around 15 km outside the Krishna valley, you will come across a huge rock which is overlooking the Krishna valley! From here you will be able to see some of the most amazing and picturesque natural scenery such as the waters of the Dhom Dhom and Balakwadi.
Devrai Art Village. The Devrai Art Village is specifically located quite close to the Panchgani. Here you will be finding a highly skilled and competent Adivasi people who are terrific in their craft.
The best time to visit Panchgani is the winters! The temperature in this place remains very comfortable and is quite apt specifically for sightseeing. Some of the best months to visit this place would be from the month of September, October, November, March, April and May.
