The months from May to September is the best time to visit Baltal. It is the most convenient time frame to make your travel to Baltal.
By Air - Baltal doesn’t have its own airport. The nearest airport is Srinagar airport. Srinagar airport has very good air connectivity with other major and nearby Indian cities like Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata etc. From there you would need to get a cab or some other means of transportation to reach your destination. However, after deboarding the flight you will need to cover a distance of 2 hours to 3 hours.
By Road - There are regular buses which you can take to reach your destination from more or less most of the major Indian cities. It would surely prove to be a kind of memorable experience for you.
By Train - Baltal doesn’t have its own railway station. You can get a train to Srinagar and from there you would need to get a cab or some other means of transportation to reach your destination. Srinagar has really good rail connectivity with other Indian cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Pune etc.
