The months from May to September is the best time to visit Baltal. During this time, the temperature and climatic conditions are very pleasant which are suitable for sightseeing activities. During the winters, the temperature drops too low and people might not enjoy travelling and exploring the place unless they specifically love the winter season.
By Air - Baltal doesn’t have its own airport. The nearest airport is Srinagar airport. Srinagar airport has very good air connectivity with other major and nearby Indian cities like Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata etc. From there you would need to get a cab or some other means of transportation to reach your destination. However, after deboarding the flight you will need to cover a distance of 2 hours to 3 hours.
By Road - There are regular buses which you can take to reach your destination from more or less most of the major Indian cities. It would surely prove to be a kind of memorable experience for you.
