1. The initiative that started in 2019 has finally borne fruit. Another of the world's highest Jesus statues stands in Brazil's wee bit Encantado village. An enormous Jesus monument that would be even taller than Rio de Janeiro's iconic Christ the Redeemer has been in the spotlight for quite some time! Although the monument has been completed, the building construction is yet to start. Hence, it is expected to be dedicated later in the year. This statue has a heart-shaped platform above the chest, 40 feet above the ground. Guests can enjoy the panoramic & breathtaking views of the landscape from this vantage point.

2. Sivasagar city in Assam staged a 50-day celebration towards the International Day of Yoga by hosting a Yoga Utsav designed to motivate Yoga practice. The event, hosted by the Department of Ayush's Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), drew approximately 10,000 participants. Rudrasagar Dol, Thora Dol, Ronghar, Kareng Ghar, Tolatol Ghar, and Joydol were among the seven locations.

3. The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, opened the Kaddukhal-Siddhpeeth Devi ropeway service. It is a fresh ropeway opened in Uttarakhand, bringing respite to tourists and pilgrims seeking darshan at the iconic Surkanda Devi Temple.

People used to walk for about 2 hours to reach the temple, but with the new ropeway, they would be able to get there quickly. For workers & tourists, such initiatives serve as a critical source of pollution-free transportation. 

4. As part of the Swadesh Darshan plan, IRCTC would operate the first-ever Bharat Gaurav Tourist train on Ramayana Circuit. This tour will take all of the important sites related to Lord Rama's lifetime. This train also will halt in Janakpur, Nepal, at the renowned Ram Janaki shrine. This Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train Trip is an 18-day excursion. The journey will begin from Delhi, with a stopover at Ayodhya, Lord Rama's abode. There is a halt at Bhadrachalam in Telangana, commonly recognized as the "Ayodhya of the South."

The Ramayana journey would culminate in Delhi after traversing nearly 8000 kilometers.
