Pune to be the 9th Destination of the Akasa Air Route Chain

Pune will eventually become Akasa Air's ninth destination in its network of routes departing from Bengaluru in November. With this, the number of daily flights between Bengaluru and Pune will double, with the first frequency starting on November 23 and the second frequency starting on November 26. Twenty daily flights will now connect Bengaluru with seven cities: Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Chennai, Kochi, Guwahati, and Pune.

Following the acquisition of the last of Air Asia India's parent company's shares, TATA group announced that the two airlines would merge.AirAsia India and the global low-cost carrier Air India Express are prepared to unite. The acquisition of Air Asia India by Air India has received approval from the Competition Commission of India. Air India inked an agreement with a Bengaluru-based LCC to start the merger process with AI Express, which is expected to be finished by the end of 2023.

Mangalore is All Set to Launch Direct Bus Services from Airport to Kasaragod

The KSRTC is prepared to begin its third route, from MIA to Kasaragod, after introducing direct bus services from Manipal and Mangalore railway station to Mangalore International Airport. According to Rajesh Shetty, the division controller for KSRTC in Mangalore, the state is preparing to offer an interstate Volvo bus service between MIA and Kasaragod.
