1. ‘Adventure Tourism’ Will be Centre-Staged at the 2nd TWG Meeting 
The G20 summit's second meeting is slated for Siliguri/Darjeeling. From April 1st through April 3rd, 2023. During the second Tourism Working Group TWG meeting, Secretary of Tourism Arvind Singh announced that a full-day conference would be conducted for domestic industry partners and Indian states to discuss 'Tourism in mission mode: Advantage Adventure Tourism'. The Ministry of Tourism also sponsors a side event on "Adventure tourism as a vehicle for achieving Sustainable Development Goals." 

2. Bharat Gaurav Train Begins Its Journey for the North East Circuit 
The Bharat Gaurav train begins its North East journey, which will last 15 days and traverse five NE states. This train line is fortunate because it began its voyage on the evening of Chaitra Navratri/Gudi Padwa. This train departed from Delhi's Safdarjung station. It would travel to Guwahati, Sivasagar, Jorhat, and Kaziranga in Assam, Unakoti, Agartala, and Udaipur in Tripura, Dimapur and Kohima in Nagaland, and Shillong and Cherrapunji in Meghalaya. 

3. Get Ready to Explore the Phenomenal 15-Jungle Trails of Uttrakhand, Opened  Exclusively for Trekkers 
Uttarakhand is about to launch 15 new excursions for trekkers on 15 incredible forest routes. Vinay Bhargav, the forest conservator, has listed 15 distinct spots for fantastic hiking options to provide tourists with unique and fascinating experiences. He also stated that guests or trekkers could choose from 2.5 km short-day treks to 65 km lengthy week treks based on their choices and desires! 

4. Laos is Planning to Conduct Boisterous Activities for the Lao New Year 
Laos is getting ready to celebrate the Lao New Year on a huge scale in 2023. According to the Lao Calendar, this is the most important occasion for Laotians. The event will be held this year from April 14th to April 16th. According to sources, the PMO office has directed the Ministries of Industry and Commerce, Agriculture and Forestry, Central Government agencies, and Provincial Government offices to double-check the arrangements in the most zealous manner possible! 

5. Get Ready for Gangotri Temple Tour in Uttarakhand this April
The magnificent Gangotri temple in Uttarakhand is set to open its doors for tourist activity on April 22nd, Akshaya Tritiya. Over 2.5 million tourists have already registered for the Chardham Yatra. The Uttarakhand Tourism Development Council has announced that 1.39 lakh registrations for Kedarnath Dham and 1.14 lakh registrations for Badrinath Dham have been completed. With this announcement, the Rudraprayad district government has begun preparations for the Char Dham Yatra.
