Get Ready For A River Cruise Between Varanasi and Bogibeel

Sabananda Sonowal, the shipping minister, stated that a cruise service from Varanasi to Bogibeel will begin in 2023, covering a distance of more than 4000 kilometres over the Ganga. The project calls for constructing two floating jetties at Bogibeel in Dibrugarh and Guijan in Tinsukia. Under an EPC contract, the whole project is handed over to Coastal Consolidated Structures Pvt. Ltd.

Indian Railways is Super-Ready To Launch Navratri Special Tourist Train 

According to Indian Railways, special tourist trains to Vaishnodevi will operate from September 30, 2022. This special express has the moniker Bharat Gaurav Rake and a voyage period of four nights and five days. The starting point will be the Delhi Safdarjung railway station, with a maximum capacity of 600 visitors every scheduled departure. This train will be extremely secure, with CCTV cameras, security guards, and other measures.

Ahmedabad Bangkok Services Into Play From Oct 21, 2022

Thai Vietjat is preparing to establish international services from Ahmedabad to Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) with three flights each week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays for a total flight time of 3 hours and 55 minutes. The return trip will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This decision was taken to significantly extend the network and mainly regional connections in Tier-2 cities in India.

Sri-Lanka To Host Roadshows In India Soon

Sri Lanka intends to conduct roadshows in India to enhance the tourist industry to improve bilateral and cultural ties with India. This year's dates are September 26-September 30. The Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi will be the first to stage this roadshow, followed by the St. Regis Hotel in Mumbai on September 28th and the Taj Krishna Hotel in Hyderabad on September 30th.
