1) Singapore Airlines to Expand Flight Operations From Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kochi
Singapore Airlines is all set to expand its services from Kochi starting on the 2nd of August. In Chennai, the services will become 17 times weekly; in Hyderabad, the operation will increase from daily-11 times a week. This will double the number of flights flying out of Chennai, Kochi, and Hyderabad. Additionally, the airline has revealed a special fare for travel from Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, and Kochi to locations around Asia.
2) Rajasthan Ready to Promote Border Tourism
The centre has voluntarily agreed to the Rajasthan tourism department's suggestion to build the Shree Tanot complex in Jaisalmer as a tourist destination. The centre has approved a budget of Rs. 17.67 crores for the enhancement of the area's infrastructure and tourism-related activities. The BSF (Border Security Force) will also host a weapon display, a documentary screening, and a picture exhibition at the Operations Base in Jaisalmer as part of tourism-related events.
