1. Vietnam Unveils Extended E-Visa Program! Unlocking 90 Days of Adventure with Multiple Entries!
As per the latest update, Vietnam's National Assembly recently approved an extension of electronic visas for incoming visitors based on the government's recommendation. Starting from August 1, the validity of the e-visa will be extended to an impressive 90 days, marking a significant increase from the previous duration of 30 days. At present, Indian travelers who visit Vietnam are granted electronic tourist visas valid for only 30 days, permitting a single entry into the country. However, a new scheme has been implemented that allows visitors to extend their stay for a longer duration. Consequently, the recent visa reforms will provide tourists with the opportunity to stay in Vietnam for an extended period and explore multiple regions within the country. The cost of the tourist visa is USD 25, and the current processing time ranges from 3 to 4 days.
Under the proposed changes, tourists will be granted multiple entries instead of single-entry visas, aiming to boost tourism in Vietnam. This particular adjustment is expected to greatly benefit Indian tourists, who frequently visit Vietnam in substantial numbers.
Presently, Vietnam offers e-visas to citizens of 80 countries and territories, while citizens from 25 countries can travel to Vietnam without applying for a visa. These visa-exempt visitors are typically allowed to stay for an average duration ranging between 14 and 30 days.Click to Book Flights
