1. Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh is geared up for the commencement of the annual Dance Festival, starting February 20th, 2022. The six-day event will be flagged off by the Madhya Pradesh Governor, Mr. Mangubhai C. Patel, and the Tourism, Culture, and Spirituality Minister, Ms. Usha Thakur. The local MP, Mr. Vishnu Dutt Sharma, and the MSME Minister, Mr. Om Prakash Sakhlecha, are also expected to grace the event. 

The Festival is one of the most acclaimed dance events where traditional Indian and international artists participate in the backdrop of the historic city of Khajuraho.

2. The first-of-its-kind activity in Madhya Pradesh, the MP Tourism is all set to introduce skydiving in Ujjain and Bhopal. The activities at both places will be organized with the assistance of the Pioneer Flying Academy, Aligarh, where tourists will be jumping off from 10,000 ft above sea level. The Bhopal camp is proposed to be set up at the Raja Bhoj Airport, and in Ujjain, the airstrip will be used.

Tourists who have received their booster doses can now travel to the country. They will need to follow the three-day home or institution quarantine period mandatorily. The new rule applies to Indonesians too.

5. Starting March 1st, 2022, the Veer Savarkar International Airport will be closed for four days every week. This is because of the re-carpeting and upgrading work being done on the runway. Due to the pandemic, the number of flights operating out of the Airport is already reduced to twelve daily flights. Now, due to work, flight operations will be further affected.
