1. India’s 75th Independence Day Calls For ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’

In honor of the country's 75th anniversary, the ASI(Archaeological Survey Of India)   has waived all entry fees for historical and conserved monuments around the country, allowing all visitors and tourists to visit these sites for free. The Ministry of Culture oversees the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav cultural activities. In the spirit of Jan-Bhagidari, they commemorated this Mahotsav as a Jan-Utsav.

4. RTDC Is Ready To Launch Palace On Wheels In September 2022

The Chairman of the RTDC(Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation) has widely announced the re-launch of Palace on Wheels, a well-known luxury train, in September 2022. RTDC has been affiliated with Indian railways and has operated the prestigious Rajasthan tourism product, Palace on Wheels, since 1982. After being halted for two subsequent years, it is now coming up with various coaches having several chambers within, each of which is beautifully decorated with furniture and details that reflect the local heritage.

5. Foreign Tourists Might Get GST Refund On Local Shopping

The Government has just announced the pilot project where the GST(goods and services tax) paid on local shopping by international visitors will be refunded. Tax specialists believe that various adjustments will be necessary to implement the aforementioned strategy, which will take time. With regard to this, it will enable machinery provisions to ensure zero misuses of provisions, and they do not abuse the laws, while foreign tourists would receive a rapid return on their qualifying purchases with little paperwork.
