Shimla, Feb 22: In a major step towards digital transformation of tourism, the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) has signed a strategic MoU with AI-driven travel platform Adotrip.com. The collaboration aims to enhance global visibility of Himachal’s tourism sector, improve hotel occupancy, and promote lesser-known destinations through smart, data-driven marketing.
Under the partnership, more than 50 HPTDC properties — ranging from heritage hotels to budget stays — will be integrated into Adotrip’s AI-powered circuit planner, enabling travellers to receive personalised travel recommendations based on routes, preferences, and budget. Officials said the initiative will also support real-time bookings, targeted digital promotion, and a modern tech-first travel experience.
Tourism leaders termed the move a significant milestone in positioning Himachal Pradesh as a digitally empowered tourism hub by blending hospitality with advanced technology solutions.
