Home Remedies For Ear Pain

Warm Compress

Applying a warm compress to the affected ear can help soothe the pain and reduce inflammation. Use a clean cloth soaked in warm water and gently press it against the ear for 10-15 minutes.

Olive Oil

Warm a few drops of olive oil and put them into the painful ear using a dropper. Let it sit for a few minutes to soften any earwax or debris, which might be causing the pain.

Garlic Oil

Garlic has natural antimicrobial properties. Crush a garlic clove and mix it with some olive oil. Warm the mixture slightly and strain it. Put a few drops of the garlic oil into the ear for relief.

Onion Compress

Onions have anti-inflammatory properties. Heat an onion in the microwave, cut it in half, and wrap it in a clean cloth. Apply the warm onion as a compress over the ear to alleviate pain.

Salt Sock

Heat some salt in a pan, put it into a sock, and tie it securely. Apply the warm salt sock to the affected ear for a comforting heat therapy to reduce pain.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is known for its antibacterial properties. Mix a few drops of tea tree oil with a carrier oil like olive oil or coconut oil and apply it around the outer ear canal.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water. Soak a cotton ball in the mixture and gently clean the ear to remove any excess earwax or debris.

Basil Leaves

Crush a few basil leaves to extract the juice. Apply the juice around the ear, but not inside, to help reduce ear pain.

Ginger Compress

Grate fresh ginger and put it in a clean cloth. Warm it slightly and place it on the painful ear to reduce inflammation and pain.

Hydrogen Peroxide

Use a diluted solution of hydrogen peroxide and water to clean the ear gently. This can help clear any blockages and relieve pressure in the ear.
