All the temples of Lord Shiva are beautifully decorated, and a procession is carried out in the city showing the story of marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
Maha Shivratri of Varanasi is easy to visit as the city is one of the most prominent cities of the state of Uttar Pradesh. People can reach here by air, rail or road.
