Spring Festival or Pipal Jatra or Basantotsav is the grand affair of Kullu that is celebrated from 28th to 30th April every year. The festival has been a long affair back in the times of ruler. As the name suggests, the spring festival is celebrated to welcome the spring season at Kullu Valley. It is believed that the-then rulers of Kullu enjoyed the cultural dance performance during the start of Spring season. The festival is still holds the glory and never lose its essence.
