Tirupati is a famous and a significant temple of Andhra Pradesh which is visited by thousands of pilgrims every year. The deity of the temple who is Lord Venkateshwara is worshipped by his devotees with utmost belief. This temple in at the ranges of Eastern Ghats known as the land of seven hills.
There are many festivals which take place at this temple but the most known one is the Brahmotsavam which is a huge festival of Lord Venkateshwara. This festival is of 10 days which happens in the months of September or October. There are processions carried everyday which is a colorful sight to see.
In this festival, the deity of the Tirupati temples is taken on colorful processions around the city with hundreds of people following the procession.
People perform Sevas which means they offer flowers, fruits and food to the diety in order to make him happy and seek blessings.

Tirupati is easily accessible as it is connected to all major cities of India via rail, road and air. The nearest airport, railway station is in Tirupati itself. People can reach here from any part of India.
