The otherwise dull and dejected Thar desert gets its life on the second month of the year. It gets cheered up with a lot of songs, dance, bright colors and people who celebrate the highs and lows of the desert. It truly is a thoughtful event which is so nicely organized amidst the beautiful and enriched sand dunes near Jaisalmer.

The festival continues for three days which includes a lot of enthusiasm in each and everyone with traditional outfits, Gair and Fire-dances, singing, kalabazi and more. It is a saga of happiness that moves forward towards the Shahid Poonam Singh Stadium from Jaisalmer Fort. The experience of being a part of this event is self-satisfying and fun in itself.
