Tashiding Monastery is a Buddhist monastery located in the Nyingma sect of Tibetan Buddhism in the Western Sikkim. It is situated on the top of the hills rising between Rathong chu and Rangeet river. Tashiding Monastery is one such place where one can view Mount Kanchenjunga houses Manis or Stone Plates imprinted with sacred Buddhist Mantras. The monastery is open every day from 7 am to 7 pm. Furthermore, the months of March and May, or either the months from October to Mid-December are the best time to visit Tashiding Monastery.
