The Triveni-Sangam is the convergence of three rivers namely the ganges, The Yamuna and the Saraswati in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. It is also one of the mystical places for the believers of Hindu religion. Internationally recognized, the Triveni Sangam is religious river confluence to take bath and wash off the sins. Also, it is the place where world famous Kumbh Mela takes place in every six years.
The world’s famous gathering “Kumbh Mela” takes place every 12 years and The Triveni Sangam is one of the four places where Kumbh Mela(Gathering) is celebrated. In Hindu Mythology, it is believed that bathing in Triveni Sangam during the Kumbh Mela, cleanses the body and soul.

It is very mystical to watch different poojas that are performed by the Pundits. Also, the common Hindu believer perform poojas like Rudrabhishekam, Ekadash Rudrabhishekam Pooja, Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam Yagya and others.
Watch the confluence of three rivers
Another magnificent spectacle that one can look for, is the gigantic confluence or “Sangam” of three rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati.
Everytime you visit the place, you bring back something best in your memory, such is the magic of the place. Though, visiting during October-March will be the best time. This is when you can witness the famous “Sangam”. Also, it’s the time when Hindu believers go for sin-wash bathing.
Air- Allahabad Airport is located in Bamrauli which is the nearest airport towards the Triveni Sangam. After reaching the airport, you can hire local buses, taxis or autos towards Triveni Sangam.
Railway- The nearest railway station is Cheoki Railway Station, distance with 6 kilometres to Triveni Sangam. After reaching the station, you can take auto/taxi.
