It is the capital city of Jharkhand and apparently the biggest as well. It plays a prominent role in many happenings in and around the state. The Jharkhand movement which led to the formation of the state of Chhattisgarh also made Ranchi its centre. It is located on the southern part of Chota Nagpur Plateau. The city has some dense tropical forests which makes it highly moderate in climate. The entire city has a lot to offer to its tourists. The lifestyle and culture of Ranchi is quite impressive, and the urban development of the city makes it one of the significant cities of the state.
Airport connecting Ranchi and other major cities of India is the Birsa Munda Airport which is in the city itself. Also, the Ranchi railway station makes it easier to reach the city as it connects to Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and many more.
