Aizawl is the capital city of the Mizoram state of India. It is indeed the largest city in the state. The city has all the important administration houses and other government offices and thus it is also the administrative centre of the state. The population of Aizawl consists of many different communities and groups of Mizo people. It is an amalgamation of different cultures, traditions and practices which makes it even more charming and interesting to the people coming from different parts of India. Reiek

With its lush green temperatures Reiek is home to one of the most amazing tourist destination offering a very wide variety of wildlife and hill birds which are like the rare Peregrine falcon.

Mizoram State Museum

This museum has been located right in the centre of the city. Furthermore, it also displays a very rich heritage and cultural aspect of Mizoram.

Tamdil

Now, what will somewhat astonish you is the fact that the name of this lake literally means the lake of mustard after a folk story. This lake has been a part of the fishing reservoir and is maintained by the fisheries department. And for the benefit of the tourists, there are many lakeside resorts as well which are present here.

KV Paradise

This is a 3 storeyed mausoleum which has been built in the memory of Varte who died in the year of 2001 in a motor accident. And visiting this place you would be able to find some of her best collections of shoes and clothes.

Dampa Tiger Reserve
