Incredible things to do while you are on a trip to the city of delight, Kolkata

Hey guys! I visited Kolkata last week and the whole trip was awesome. Kolkata, a city where India and England collide. I was hella excited that I was going to visit the city famous for Rasogulla, Howrah Bridge, Victoria Memorial, and the city itself.

Calcutta, which is now known as Kolkata, where you can smell the sacredness of Durga and can taste the delicious Rasogulla, the generosity of people, and the desperation level of nightlife. All at one stop point, you can find only in Kolkata. A city with soul, where Rabindranath Tagore spent his childhood, where East India Company developed and the pubs and bars are livelier than any other place. I had an amazing experience there and I wish to share this all with you.

Places to visit in Kolkata

There are numerous places in Kolkata that are beautiful. Where I managed to visit, some of the amazing places that any tourist will love to visit. My bucket list contains some of the beautiful places that are given below:

● Howrah Bridge

Since, childhood, I want to visit this iconic landmark of Kolkata ‘The Howrah Bridge'. The photos which I had just seen in the General knowledge books of grade 4 were live in front of my eyes. I was speechless after that. What a magnificent view! Well, just for sharing history, it extends across the Hoogly River and connects Howrah and Kolkata. The view from here, especially at night, is priceless.

● Indian Museum

The second place that I visited was this ninth oldest museum in the world and the largest in India. Well, I am a museum person and I like how history connects us to the ancestors. So, if you are also like me, must visit this. It holds some of the beautiful histories. The finest Mughal paintings, a collection of fossils, skeletal, armors, and antiques will definitely mesmerize you.

● Victoria Memorial

The third place on my bucket list was Victoria Memorial. The pride of Kolkata, testimony to the British rule, and the magnificent architecture of that era will definitely blow your mind like it blower mine. The site was marvelous and in the night, it just takes the breath away.
